Smishing (SMS Phishing)
This is a phishing campaign that uses SMS messages, whereby the attackers send a text message to the victims pretending to be from Sojern. Using diverse messaging platforms, such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp, X (Twitter), Telegram, or any other Social Media App, it aims to steal personal information leading to identity theft, financial loss, and even malware infections. It may also lure you into clicking on malicious links that may compromise your device.
For a fee, victims are offered lucrative remote jobs by clicking ads on travel webpages or job offers with high commissions by reviewing travel attractions and packages. It promises quick and easy money for online investment opportunities and the like, leading to greater financial loss and personal information privacy violations.
Email Phishing
A deceptive cyberattack via Email that appears to be from Sojern. It will often contain an attachment or link that, when clicked or opened, will install malware on the victim's computer or phone, designed to steal personal information or compromise your device. Clicking a link takes you to a fraudulent website aiming to obtain your personal and financial information.
